Tips on improving your health

Torquay Physiotherapy Team

Aubrey Francis

Founder & Principal Physiotherapist

Since graduating as a physiotherapist Aubrey has diligently worked toward developing skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. He has gained a wealth of experience in sports medicine clinics and multidisciplinary health clinics in Victoria and Western Australia.

He has assisted international athletes through to weekend warriors, and provided his expertise to the following organisations:

  • The West Australian Ballet Company
  • West Australian State Basketball Team: Batavia Buccaneers
  • West Australian State Basketball Team: Bunbury Slammers
  • Geelong Football League’s Grovedale Football Club for 2 years

Before commencing private practice Aubrey gained a strong foundation of medical knowledge whilst working in hospitals in Victoria and Western Australia. He has returned to the hospital system as a Clinical Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the Emergency Department of The University Hospital Geelong.

He has developed close working relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, providing their patients with pre-operation and post-operation care, and in some cases helping patients to avoid the need for surgical intervention.

Aubrey brings Blue Sky Physiotherapy to the Torquay community where he lives.
